Real Estate Blogging

April 29th, 2008

Blogging for real estate is not any different from normal blogging. But for you to understand, the last thing you want to mention to your readers has to be something that they will remember. Or probably, it could be something that they will have to think about after reading your blog post.

Two most important things in blogging for real estate is the value and context of your post. It really doesn’t matter whether you have a short or long post, it is a matter of making your readers understand that the content that you make for them is something fresh and that it deserves to be read by everybody.

Earn the trust and attention of your readers too by keeping the last sentence of your post appealing and interesting. You can quote a famous line or even give a useful real estate tool. Whichever way, your audience and the posts should have a certain connection.

Finding Niche for Real Estate Marketing

April 14th, 2008

There is such a broad perspective for real estate marketing online which makes it more difficult for a newbie agent to find which niche one should concentrate on.

You should consider what you really want to sell for a real estate business as there are really many choices and room for changes especially if you barely have an idea of the type of estate you would like to sell. Other than finding out whether you’d like to sell luxury houses or apartments; find out your target market age range as well.

There are also people who completely have no experience for real estate online shopping and they will need guidance along the way. You might want to take a look at that area and see if you become effective as a real estate agent.

April 4th, 2008

Getting leads for real estate is one part of the process. But, the challenge comes when you get persuade these leads unto becoming your real-life and long-term clients.

In online real estate marketing, no matter how good you rate yourself, there could be some things that do not work for others. As for responding to inquiries from prospects, the practice of answering all emails every other day could be a downfall for your part. Practice to check emails every several hours in a day. Being prompt means that you are on your toes to do business with potential clients and you value their inquiry no matter who they are, where they come from.

And of course, never fail to include the link to your website in every emails that you send out. It is just normal that people may not want to read what your website is all about now, but could look at it at a later time.

Real Estate Page Rank Increase the Right Way

March 28th, 2008

Linking to other websites which have the same input and output as yours do is what probably, all real estate agents would want to do online. The idea is to simply increase page rankings by getting as much links as you can swapped with other pages.

This step is great at first but it could cause you all your hard work and time in the end. Search engines such as Google might notice that you are increasing your page rank not according to the quality way of how it should be done and it could be a problem.

What about making your own content for your website though? How about coming up with fresh and unique ideas or materials for your real estate website which will also be helpful for others; if they find it so, they will link to you, no questions asked.  If you want to increase your page, do it the right way so all your hard work doesn’t go to waste.

Advertise without Expenses

March 24th, 2008

Ever tried speaking up for your real estate business? It may sound a little bit terrifying but speaking can be something that we all can learn. You may initially think that it’s not your forte at all, but what you didn’t know is that you have a whole lot of story to tell if you only know what you topic you will be talking about.

Public speaking does not come too friendly at first but if you want something to say to the entire neighborhood, community, city or state even; then public speaking is the only way for you. Never mind what you minor stumbles you can commit during the speech, what’s important is that you have what it takes to inform  the people about your real estate service and that you can lure them through their interests. It is also one of the best ways how to market your business without worrying about advertising money.

Be Extra Creative to Attract Real Estate Customers

March 19th, 2008

People are after what you can offer them in a regular basis with great quality. This reflects how good you are and knowledgeable about the service and niche that you are working on.

In dealing with real estate customers, there is a great chance that you will run in to them twice but sometimes, you are never able to meet them again be it online or off line. If the latter happens most of the time, then there is a good reason why your should be really making newsletters for both your customers and the potential ones.

Newsletters serve dual purpose. One is that it gives a chance for you to let out your creative side and two, you establish contact with both your customers and non-customers. In the event that they like what you write about (and better be sure that it happens regularly), there is a great chance of them signing up for your full real estate service. Who knows? So, just keep on trying.

Real Estate Website Concerns

March 11th, 2008

Maintaining online real estate business with clients is definitely not possible without a good and reliable web domain host. If your real estate website goes down for one day, think about the number of interested customers you could lose.

Another factor you should be concerned about other than a reliable service, is the monthly costs you possibly are going to pay when you have chosen which web hosting company you want to avail service from.

You can already  get a good service from a reliable web hosting company for a decent amount of $5-10 monthly. Remember, this does not have to go beyond the $10 mark even if they claim that they can specifically cater to your real estate needs. You have to realize that a web hosting company, regardless of what they offer should only have one main strong point; and that is with minimal downtime. And oh, customer support is also a main strong point so do keep that in mind.

Market Visually

March 5th, 2008

Time is precious for everybody. For real estate agents, its worth more than gold since working according time is highly valued. There are so much things to do and time is so limited each day. This means that any business not done today, can already become too late tomorrow.

In terms of marketing your real estate service online, getting leads is always the target but try to shift your attention to your very own website. Normally, how you deal with the look and feel of your real estate website is not as important as dealing with existing and potential clients.

But marketing your very own website even when a visitor visits it for the first time can affect the decision-making of this customer. The smartest way to do is for you to come up with an easily-navigated website. Your website viewers should know instantaneously where to go. Graphics, fonts and colors should all look “expensive” and well-organized. It’s all part of marketing without doing so much. You can hire a web designer for this task.

Also, make sure that your email address is not sponsored. This means you should have an email address that is named after your website domain to complete the your image marketing.

Protect Yourself

February 27th, 2008

Working as a real estate agent is no joke at all. There are a lot of things that can happen and hard work that is needed to be done along the process before one can consider a himself a real estate expert.

You may consider yourself a good real estate agent who attends to his duties and responsibilities for his clients. But you have to admit that there are contributing factors and sometimes frivolous clients that just want to get smart with people such as you.

How do you avoid from entrapping yourself to lawsuits from clients? There are many ways but the basics still matter. For example, when you are negotiating with a buyer or a seller, make sure that you document all point of contact, the date, time and the reason why you made such arrangement with the client. When there is something you offer and the client refuses, make sure you also the client sign a waiver.

This is to make sure that aside from all the legal protection you can obtain when you are in a real lawsuit, you have all the protection and evidence you need right in your own office.
